Senior Interconnection Project Engineer (full-time, exempt)
sPower is seeking a transmission engineer who is interested in a more dynamic project management role. Typical responsibilities include transmission system analysis across the US, preparation of interconnection requests, and managing utility scale solar and wind projects through generator interconnection processes. Additional responsibilities involve leading multi- disciplinary teams to implement high voltage interconnection facilities (substations, switchyards and gen-ties). Preferred technical background includes experience in transmission planning and analysis, and previous employment with a utility, RTO or renewable energy company.
