Spower In Virginia

Virginia

Virginia is a key state for sPower with four active projects under development and potential for more. As a long-term partner for both the state and counties, we are excited to partner with local schools, businesses, non-profits and landowners.

These projects provide numerous workforce opportunities, strong local economic stimulus, increased tax revenues, and requires almost no services from the counties in which they operate.

We look forward to meeting Virginia’s goal to produce 100 percent electricity from carbon-free sources by 2050.

Landowners play a key role in the development and success of each sPower project, and we work hard to garner trust from the onset. This self-proclaimed “country girl” finds a new use for her property and a new way to farm her land that produces more revenue for her county and continues the legacy of a country life.
